About the estate

The Bodegas San Dionisio winery was founded in 1957 as an agricultural cooperative in Fuente-Álamo within the region of Castile-La Mancha. Across approximately 5,500 hectares of vineyards situated on limestone soils at an altitude of 800 meters, the estate cultivates various grape varieties with a strong focus on the native Monastrell grape, which accounts for seventy percent of the area and includes ungrafted old vines. The production includes bottled wines in several styles, bulk wine, as well as virgin and extra virgin olive oils produced since 1999. The facilities feature modern stainless steel tanks with automated temperature control, a bottling plant, and a barrel aging room.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Mourvèdre and Verdejo.
