Über den Betrieb
Das Unternehmen Esencia Wines Cellars wurde im Jahr 1999 im Herzen der Sierra del Carche in der Region Jumilla gegründet. Die Weinberge befinden sich in den Hängen der Sierra del Carche auf steinigem Boden in optimaler Höhenlage. Die Bewirtschaftung stützt sich auf eine über Generationen weitergegebene Tradition des Weinbaus und sorgfältig ausgewählte Parzellen. Im Mittelpunkt der Produktion steht die Rebsorte Monastrell als charakteristische Traube der Herkunftsbezeichnung. Ergänzend zum Weinbau betreibt der Betrieb ein öffentlich zugängliches Weinmuseum, das Einblicke in die regionale Weinkultur bietet.
Im eno-Verzeichnis sind 19 Weine erfasst, überwiegend aus Mourvèdre und Petit Verdot.
