Domaine Weinbach

About the estate

The Domaine Weinbach estate was built in 1612 by Capuchin monks in Kaysersberg, Alsace. The property includes the historic Clos des Capucins, which covers five hectares and is enclosed by walls. The vineyards feature diverse geological characteristics and are predominantly located on slopes within the privileged microclimate of the valley. Farming has been strictly organic since 1990 and biodynamic methods have been applied across all vineyards since 2005. The parcel-selected wines reflect the diversity of the soils and the distinct identity of each site.
