Established in 1975, the Domaine Talmard Gérald estate is located in Uchizy in the heart of the Burgundy region and is operated as a multi-generational family winery. The estate focuses on the cultivation of Chardonnay, which thrives on the local soils and defines the character of the Mâcon-Chardonnay and Mâcon-Uchizy appellations. The winemaking process relies on a natural approach utilizing indigenous yeasts, a reduced use of sulfur, and environmentally conscious methods in the vineyard. Reflecting this commitment to sustainable practices, the winery holds the High Environmental Value certification. In addition to tending the vineyards, the estate welcomes visitors for guided tours and tastings.
