About the estate
Located in Villecroze in the Haut Var, the Domaine St Jean features a history dating back to antiquity and was established in its current form in 1973. Out of a total area of fifty hectares, the estate encompasses fifteen hectares of vineyards classified under designations such as the AOC Côtes de Provence and AOC Coteaux Varois en Provence. The cultivated varieties include classic Provençal grapes like Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Vermentino. Currently converting to organic farming, the estate relies on traditional hand-harvesting by night. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks as well as oak barrels, and bottling is performed directly at the estate.
