About the estate

The Domaine Seguin estate, located in Pouilly-sur-Loire, is a family-run winery that has been passed down since the 19th century and is now managed by Philippe Seguin in the sixth generation. Covering 20 hectares of vineyards spread across 22 parcels, the estate primarily cultivates Sauvignon Blanc, locally known as Blanc Fumé. Vineyard management follows sustainable practices certified by the Haute Valeur Environnementale standard, with all canopy work and harvesting performed manually. In the three-level cellar, vinification utilizes gravity flow alongside temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, as well as aging in oak barrels and ceramic amphorae for selected cuvées. The production focuses on AOC Pouilly-Fumé wines that showcase the diversity of local terroirs including limestone, Kimmeridgian marl, and flint.
