About the estate

The family-run Domaine de Bel Air estate cultivates around 15.5 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Pouilly-Fumé appellation, along with half a hectare in Pouilly sur Loire. The vines grow on three main soil types consisting of Kimmeridgian marl, clay-limestone, and calcareous sands situated on the slopes of the Butte de Saint Andelain. The cultivated grape varieties are traditionally Sauvignon, locally known as Blanc Fumé, and Chasselas. Vineyard management applies reasoned pest control methods alongside regular soil cultivation to sustainably preserve the terroir.
