About the estate
The family-owned Domaine Schlegel-Boeglin was founded in 1972 by Jean-Paul Schlegel and has since been passed down through generations in Westhalten in Alsace. The estate farms vineyards in sheltered locations such as Zinnkoepflé and Vorbourg, which benefit from a dry and sunny microclimate. The grape variety portfolio includes Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sylvaner, and Pinot Blanc, which are also used to produce Crémant d’Alsace. Vineyard management relies on environmentally friendly methods, mechanical soil cultivation, and certification under Haute Valeur Environnementale. The portfolio also features traditional Alsatian wines such as Edelzwicker and Pinot Blanc.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Silvaner and Riesling.
