About the estate
The family-owned Domaine Ragot in Givry has been passed down from generation to generation since the 18th century and is currently managed by Nicolas in the eighth generation. The estate comprises nine hectares of vineyards, with one third situated in Givry 1er Cru sites. In the vineyard, the winery pursues an agro-ecological commitment, relying on manual harvesting in small crates and meticulous sorting on a sorting table. Vinification involves gentle destemming, cold maceration, natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts, and customized ageing in French oak barrels. All wines are produced, vinified, and bottled at the estate, and marketed directly to private customers, restaurants, and wine merchants.
