The Domaine Davanture estate manages 23 hectares of vineyards spread across seven appellations in Saint-Désert within the Burgundy wine region. The family has roots as winegrowers in the Côte Chalonnaise for four centuries and has developed the estate since the 1940s. The production includes white wines, red wines, and Crémant de Bourgogne crafted from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté, and Gamay. The winery has practiced sustainable farming methods since 1996 and received official high environmental value certification in April 2020. The local terroir features limestone and various marl soils shaped by the surrounding geography.
