Domaine Lucas Madonia

About the estate

Established in 2021, the Domaine Lucas Madonia estate farms steep terraced vineyards in and around Ayent in Valais, situated at altitudes between 680 and 820 metres. The soils consist predominantly of schist and limestone, alongside loess, moraines, quartz, and minor amounts of clay. Vineyard management is entirely manual, employing organic treatments with minimal copper usage. In the cellar, the wines are produced without additives or sulfites and are aged exclusively in old Burgundian barriques. The portfolio features a wide range of white and red grape varieties vinified separately by plot.
