About the estate

The Domaine de Ravoire estate, located in Salgesch in the Valais, cultivates steep terraced vineyards above Leytron. Founded in 2006, the company is co-owned in equal parts by Swiss wine enthusiasts and the traditional family winery Albert Mathier & Söhne. The terroir is characterized by poor, limestone-rich soils, dry stone walls, and a sunny microclimate. Indigenous grape varieties and other traditional vines thrive on the steep slopes. The vinification and tasting of the wines take place in cooperation with the partner winery in Salgesch.
