About the estate

The Domaine les Vignes des Garbasses estate is located in Cabanès in southwest France and is managed in the third generation. Originally operating in mixed agriculture and livestock, the two brothers Guy and Didier expanded activities into viticulture in 1996. Today, the estate encompasses twelve hectares of vineyards and produces wines under the IGP Côtes du Tarn denomination. The parcels are surrounded by woods and hedges, featuring indigenous red and white grape varieties such as Prunelard, Viognier, Duras, and Braucol. Vinification takes place with a focus on authenticity, utilizing traditional vessel types and environmentally conscious management practices.

The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Muscadelle and Loin de L'Œil. The estate sells to retail.
