The Domaine Koehler Jean-Claude et Fils estate is a long-standing family business with winemakers from father to son since 1621 in Westhalten, Alsace. Today, the family cultivates around nine hectares of vineyards spread across the municipalities of Westhalten, Soultzmatt and Rouffach, as well as the Grand Cru Zinnkoepflé. The philosophy of the estate focuses on producing fine, pure and elegant wines that express the minerality of the Alsese terroirs. Vineyard management follows sustainable principles under the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. Vinification involves slow fermentations and reduced sulfur levels to preserve the natural character of the wines.
