About the estate
The Domaine du Colombier estate, located in Fontenay-Près-Chablis, has been family-owned since 1887 and is currently managed by the three brothers Jean-Louis, Thierry and Vincent Mothe. Spanning 55 hectares of vineyards planted exclusively with Chardonnay, the property produces dry, vibrant white wines. The estate vinifies wines across the four controlled designations of origin of the Chablis region, including Grand Cru and 1er Cru. With an annual production of 430,000 bottles, the winery has a strong international focus and exports about eighty percent of its production.
