About the estate

The Domaine Geoffroy Alain estate dates back to 1850, when Honoré Geoffroy expanded operations into the communes of Beine and La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, later developing into a full domain under Alain Geoffroy. Today, the family-run property in the Chablis region manages approximately 50 hectares of vineyards. The wines are produced exclusively from Chardonnay and thrive on soils characterised by Kimmeridgian limestone marl and fossilised oysters. Vinification takes place primarily in stainless steel tanks, while wines from old vines are aged in oak barrels. Bottling is carried out entirely at the property.
