About the estate

The Domaine des Genèves estate is located in Fleys in the north of Burgundy within the Chablis vineyards and is managed by Stéphane Aufrère, who took over the 1973-founded property from his parents in a long family tradition. Across 21 hectares of vineyards featuring kimmeridgian limestone soils, Chardonnay is cultivated to produce dry, mineral white wines under the AOC Chablis, AOC Chablis 1er Cru, and AOC Bourgogne appellations. The winery applies reasoned pest management certified with the Haute Valeur Environnementale label, and all wines are estate-grown, vinified, and bottled on the property.
