About the estate

The family estate Domaine de Pouilly is located in the municipality of Solutré-Pouilly in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation and has been owned by the family since 1933. Knowledge has been passed down through five generations, with sons Pierre-Antoine and Vincent now managing the operations. The grapes for the wines thrive on clay-limestone soils for the Chardonnay vines and on sandier soils for the Gamay vines. The cultivation of the vineyards, which have an average age of about 50 years, follows sustainable farming practices. The entire winemaking process, from aging in oak barrels and vats to bottling, takes place directly at the estate.
