About the estate
The Domaine de Mouscaillo farms ten hectares of vineyards in Roquetaillade on the foothills of the Pyrenees in Languedoc. The estate was established in 2004 by Pierre and Marie-Claire Fort upon returning to their home region, before handing over management to their son Thomas and his partner Camille. The vineyards are situated on a high-altitude terroir characterized by limestone cliffs and deep clay-limestone soils, benefiting from a unique climatic convergence. Viticulture based on agroecological principles aims to preserve natural ecosystems and produce healthy grapes. In the cellar, artificial additives are avoided in order to craft wines with a strong aging potential.
