About the estate

The Domaine de Metifiot estate is situated in the heart of the Alpilles in Saint Rémy de Provence and looks back on a long family history that began in the late 19th century. Following generations focused on livestock, fruit growing, and olive cultivation, the family continues this heritage by expanding into organic viticulture. The vineyards benefit from the ecological richness and Mediterranean climate of the Alpilles terroir. For vinification and aging, the winery utilizes traditional barrels alongside modern ovoid concrete vessels and earthenware jars. The estate produces wines under the Alpilles IGP and AOC Les Baux de Provence denominations.
