Domaine de la Cozanne

About the estate

The Domaine de la Cozanne estate manages over seven hectares of vineyards on historic plots in the terroirs of Cirey, Nolay, and Cormot, which were once worked by the family and replanted in 2020 following a preparatory phase. The vines are situated at altitudes between 300 and 450 meters with a south-south-east exposure and are planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Viticulture is conducted organically following a conversion period under Ecocert supervision, utilizing high and wide training systems. For the maturation of the wines in the winery at Cormot, the estate employs specific vessels such as large oak tuns, Oeuf de Beaune, and Coccio Pesto amphorae to encourage micro-oxygenation. The first harvest for the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune appellation took place in the 2022 vintage.
