About the estate

The Bailly Lapierre estate is located in the Burgundian village of Bailly and produces wines under the AOC Crémant de Bourgogne designation. Since 1972, sparkling wines have been crafted here inside a subterranean stone quarry dating back to the twelfth century. The vignerons work with the region's noble grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, Gamay, Chardonnay, and Aligoté. The grapes are harvested by hand and patiently vinified and aged within the vaults, which provide constant temperature and natural humidity for production.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Export markets include Germany.
