About the estate
Founded in 1929, the Cave de Liergues estate is a cooperative winery formed by the union of winegrowers in the southern Beaujolais, located in the heart of the golden stones area. The region is part of the UNESCO Beaujolais Geopark and features a complex geology with diverse terroirs. The historical Gamay grape is cultivated here, alongside Chardonnay and other varieties such as Gamaret, Viognier, and Sauvignon. The production includes wines from the Beaujolais and AOC Crémant de Bourgogne denominations. The winery focuses on sustainability, environmental protection, and practices such as organic farming.
