About the estate
The Domaine de Joy estate is located in Panjas in the heart of Gascony and is managed today in the fourth generation by the Gessler family. The property spans 190 hectares of vineyards on a typical Bas-Armagnac terroir featuring clay-siliceous soils and tawny sands. The parcels benefit from an oceanic climate with the influence of the Pyrenees. Cultivated grape varieties include Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Gros Manseng, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tannat. The portfolio features wines from the Côtes de Gascogne appellation as well as Bas-Armagnacs distilled on the estate using a traditional still.
