About the estate
The French Domaine de Congy estate is located in the municipality of Saint-Andelain and was purchased in 1951. Today, the vineyard area covers 10.85 hectares, primarily cultivating Sauvignon Blanc for Pouilly-Fumé as well as Chasselas for Pouilly sur Loire and sparkling wine. The parcels are situated on three distinct terroirs featuring Kimmeridgian marl, limestone, and flint. Cultivation is conducted using traditional and reasoned methods, and vinification takes place in temperature-controlled tanks. The production is marketed in bottles, through a local cooperative, and via wine merchants.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc.
