About the estate
The agricultural and wine-producing estate Domaine de Champlong was founded in 1952 by Robert Lauper and is managed today by the third generation of the Lauper family. The approximately twelve hectares of vineyards are spread across the municipalities of Avusy, Avully, Laconnex, and Chancy, which includes Switzerland's westernmost planted Riesling-Sylvaner plot. The predominantly southwest-facing parcels yield a selection of 15 grape varieties, comprising seven white, six red, and one sparkling wine. Alongside viticulture, the versatile farm also engages in cattle breeding and crop cultivation.
