About the estate

The Domaine d’Ouréa estate was founded in 2009 by Adrien Roustan after completing viticultural studies and gaining professional experience in Burgundy and California. The winery takes its name from the mountain god Ourea, inspired by its highest plot located on the southern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Situated in the southern Rhône Valley, the estate spans 25 hectares of vineyards and produces wines across several appellations including Côtes du Rhône, Gigondas, Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, and Vacqueyras. Farming has been organic since inception with certification achieved in 2012, followed by the transition to biodynamic practices in 2020. All grapes are harvested manually, and the wines are vinified naturally without added oenological products and aged in concrete vats.
