About the estate

The Domaine Coteaux des Oliviers is located in Quincié en Beaujolais within the French wine region of Burgundy. The Gamay vineyards, some of which are over 100 years old, are manually tended by the winemaker and his family. All vineyard tasks from pruning and canopy management to harvesting are carried out entirely by hand. Poor soils that do not retain water, combined with a high planting density, naturally limit yields and allow the terroir to express itself ideally. For vinification, the estate relies on traditional methods involving whole-bunch maceration and maturation in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels.
