About the estate
The family-run Domaine Claude Nouveau estate is located in Change in the Burgundy region, producing 30 percent white wines and 70 percent red wines in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune and Côte de Beaune areas. The portfolio includes appellations such as AOC Bourgogne, AOC Bourgogne Aligoté, AOC Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune, AOC Maranges, AOC Maranges 1er Cru, and AOC Santenay. To achieve high quality, the winery focuses on limited yields through short pruning, debudding, green harvesting, soil cultivation, and cover cropping to manage vine vigor. Environmentally friendly and natural viticulture is prioritized to keep the wines as natural as possible. Since August 2021, the estate has held the Level 3 Haute Valeur Environnementale certification.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Aligoté.
