The Domaine Charrier-Carbonnieu estate looks back on a long history dating back to 1782 and is managed by the family across multiple generations. Located in the heart of the Sauternes appellation in Bommes, the property spans 23 hectares of vineyards distributed across 90 distinct parcels. The soils consist of gravel, clay, and sand, allowing prestigious grape varieties such as Sémillon, Sauvignon, and Muscadelle to thrive. The working method relies on manual harvesting to carefully select grapes that have achieved exceptional concentration due to the unique local microclimate. Following a controlled fermentation process, the wines develop their characteristic aromas and balance.
