About the estate
The Domaine de Monteils estate is located in Preignac and has been run as a family-owned business for several generations. The origins of the property date back to Daniel Fiton before subsequent generations continued to develop the vineyards. Today, the estate comprises ten hectares of vineyards planted with Sémillon, Sauvignon, and Muscadelle grape varieties. The vineyards are cultivated within the Sauternes appellation on a gravelly terroir. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand through successive tries to select the ideal grapes for vinification.
