About the estate
The Domaine Camp-Galhan estate is located in Ribaute les Tavernes within the Duché d'Uzès wine region. The vineyards are situated on former terraces of the Gardon river on an atypical, warm terroir featuring large rolled pebbles. Significant temperature variations between sunny days and cool winds originating from the Cévennes ensure optimal ripeness and aromatic freshness in the grapes. Alain and Lionel Pourquier, alongside Martel Orceline, manage the estate according to High Environmental Value standards and practice manual harvesting for their major cuvées. The modern winery is built on three levels, allowing grapes and musts to be moved gently by gravity.
