Domaine aux Moines

About the estate

The French wine estate Domaine aux Moines is located in Savennières in the Loire Valley south of Angers. The twelve hectares of vineyards surround the property and extend across the slope of Roche aux Moines. Only the Chenin Blanc grape variety is cultivated here on soils composed of schist and rhyolite. Farming is conducted organically and biodynamically with a focus on sustainability, biodiversity, and agroforestry. The grapes are harvested by hand, rigorously sorted, and after gentle pressing, vinified in stainless steel tanks, barriques, and large wooden casks.
