Denis Mercier

About the estate

The Denis Mercier estate cultivates seven hectares of vineyards located around the town of Sierre within the AOC Valais denomination, divided into more than 50 parcels. The winery features deep, dry limestone-clay soils, and the entire property has been maintained with a spontaneous plant cover for many years. To produce high-quality grapes and concentrate aromas, yields in the vineyards are sometimes severely limited. In the cellar, fermentation is carefully monitored, and certain wines are aged in barriques. The production focuses on distinctive wines that fully express the character of their grape varieties and terroirs.
