Collemattoni

About the estate

The Collemattoni estate is situated on a hill in the southern part of the municipality of Montalcino in Tuscany. The historic property dates back to the late seventeenth century and is currently managed by Marcello Bucci, whose family has been connected to the area since the late nineteenth century. The approximately eleven hectares of vineyards are divided into five different zones such as Fontelontano, Sesta, and Cava. The portfolio includes wines with the denominations Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC, among others. In its operations, the winery places a strong emphasis on environmental protection, which is reflected in the use of solar energy, biomass, and rainwater harvesting.
