About the estate

The Clos Mazetou estate is located in Villeneuve-sur-Vère and is part of the historic vineyards of the Gaillac appellation. After lying dormant for several years, this family-run property is currently experiencing a revival driven by a father-daughter duo. Spanning ten hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates thirteen different grape varieties, including native varieties such as Loin de l'Œil, Duras, and Mauzac alongside other cultivars. The clay-limestone soils and a climate shaped by both oceanic and continental influences define the character of the wines. All vineyard tasks up to vinification in the cellar are carried out with artisanal precision.
