The Château Vitallis is a Burgundian wine estate situated at the foot of the Roche de Solutré near Mâcon, with origins dating back to the 13th century. Family-owned since 1835, the estate is currently run by Denis Dutron and his son Maxime, who cultivate 17 hectares of vineyards planted exclusively to Chardonnay. The winery produces distinctive wines under the Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, and Mâcon appellations. Vineyard management incorporates organically inspired techniques such as soil tillage and grass cover between the rows. Vinification relies on natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts in barrels or tanks.
