About the estate

The Chateau Saint Pierre d'Escarvaillac looks back on a history dating back to the thirteenth century and formerly served as a dependency of the Bonpas Charterhouse. The buildings house historic cut-stone vats that are still used for vinification today. Comprising fourteen hectares in total with ten hectares of vineyards, the estate rests on a limestone massif covered with clay. The vines, with an average age of forty years, include the Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault varieties. Located within the AOC Côtes du Rhône, the estate is farmed organically with a strong focus on biodiversity and eco-grazing.
