About the estate

The Chateau Pique Segue looks back on a history of more than 700 years on the Libournais promontory and ranks among the main producers of the Montravel appellation. Managed by Philip and Marianne Mallard, the estate covers a total area of 400 hectares, with 66 hectares dedicated to vineyards featuring clay-limestone soils. Alongside viticulture, a large herd of Limousin cattle is maintained to support biodiversity and provide organic fertilizers. Vinification takes place in a modern cellar carved into the hillside, utilizing temperature control and micro-oxygenation. The certified estate produces wines such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that receive regular awards.
