The Chateau Petit Fombrauge estate looks back on a long family tradition in Saint-Emilion and neighboring appellations, shaped by the current owner Pierre Lavau. In 1996, he acquired a portion of today's property and, following family divisions, now cultivates a total vineyard area of 14.85 hectares. The estate applies sustainable farming principles designed to reduce phytosanitary treatments, eliminate herbicides, and supply natural nutrients to the soil through cover crops such as cereals. This careful approach aims to respect optimal maturity and produce wines characterized by concentration, aromatic complexity, and finesse.
