About the estate
The Chateau Ladesvignes estate is located in Pomport within the Périgord Pourpre region and is managed by Véronique and Michel Monbouché, who represent four generations of winegrowers. Acquired in 1989, the property originated as a former tenant farm of Château de Bridoire where vines have been cultivated for over a century. Today, the estate spans sixty hectares of vineyards on clay-limestone and clay-silt soils, planted with grape varieties including Sauvignon, Sémillon, Muscadelle, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These vineyards yield a range of wines under the AOC Bergerac, AOC Côtes de Bergerac, and AOC Monbazillac denominations. The winery practices sustainable agriculture with high planting densities to manage yields and enhance grape concentration.
