About the estate

The Château La Rayre estate is situated in the commune of Colombier on the clay-limestone hillsides south of Monbazillac. The winery is managed by the experienced winegrower Vincent Vesselle, who is committed to environmentally friendly and nature-respecting viticulture. Organic and vegan wines are produced under the denominations AOC Bergerac, AOC Bergerac rosé, AOC Bergerac sec, AOC Côtes de Bergerac, and AOC Monbazillac. The style of the wines is characterized by freshness, aromatic profile, liveliness, finesse, and elegance. Distribution takes place, among other channels, through participation in national wine fairs hosted by the Vignerons Indépendants.
