About the estate
The Chateau la Dournie is a wine estate located in Languedoc featuring a contiguous vineyard area of 45 hectares where 14 different grape varieties are cultivated. The vineyards are farmed according to organic agriculture practices. Red and rosé wines with the AOC Saint Chinian designation are produced on 20 hectares of schist hillsides. Additional deeper alluvial soils by the river are dedicated to the production of regional wines in red, rosé, and white. The work is guided by principles of nature, simplicity, and respect for the environmental heritage.
