About the estate
The Chateau des Lèbres estate is situated in southern Ardèche in Banne and is managed by Sébastien Strohl as the eighth generation on the property. In 2015, he re-established the winery on a historical family-owned property that has been held for over 200 years. The six hectares of vineyards are organically certified, and biodynamic practices have also been introduced. The cultivated grape varieties include Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Marselan, and Vermentino. Vinification takes place with strict cellar hygiene and minimal use of sulfites to produce wines under the Ardèche IGP designation.
