About the estate
Founded in 1928, the Les Chai du Pont d'Arc winery originated from the need to pool equipment among winegrowers in the southern Ardèche region. Over the years, the cooperative cellar in Ruoms merged with surrounding cooperatives, including Lagorce and Vallon-Pont-d’Arc. Today, the estate is part of the Union des Vignerons Ardéchois based in Ruoms, which provides marketing opportunities throughout France and abroad. At the same time, the individual sites retain their own identity and distribute specific cuvées through their respective tasting cellars.
