About the estate
The Chateau de Caraguilhes estate cultivates 135 hectares of vineyards in the Languedoc region, strategically surrounded by 500 hectares of garrigue. Winemaking in the Corbières area has a history spanning over 2,000 years, dating back to when Greek merchants introduced the culture of the vine. Operating organically since 1987, the winery focuses on traditional winemaking techniques to allow the soils and vines to express themselves naturally. Production includes wines under the AOC Boutenac, AOC Corbières, AOC Corbières Boutenac, Côteaux de la Cabrerisse IGP, and Oc IGP denominations. The estate is dedicated to producing distinct, balanced, and authentic wines that reflect the unique natural environment.
