About the estate
Founded in 1950, Cavit is a consortium of cooperative wineries that cultivates the majority of the vineyard area in Trentino. Around 5,250 associated winegrowers and eleven affiliated cellars work together to represent the region's diverse vineyard sites. The production spans from alluvial, sandy and clayey to calcareous and volcanic soils at altitudes ranging from 70 to 850 meters above sea level. From vineyard management to marketing, the consortium oversees every stage of the production process. The portfolio includes still and sparkling wines with a strong regional identity from the Alto Adige DOC, Trentino DOC, and Trento DOC denominations.
