The Swiss winery Cave Pierre Clavien was founded in 1974 by Jacques Clavien in Venthône in the Valais region and is now managed in the second generation by Samuel Clavien. Cultivating four and a half hectares of vineyards at altitudes between 600 and 800 meters, the family-run estate operates according to organic principles with a strong focus on biodiversity. Vineyard management is carried out manually and in harmony with nature, while cellar practices emphasize gentle aging in neutral vessels. The estate relies primarily on direct customer interaction for the distribution of its wines.
