Cave La Fournaise

About the estate

The Swiss family-owned Cave La Fournaise has been established in Veyras in the Valais region since 1993 and produces wines under the AOC Valais appellation. The vineyards are situated on the sunny slopes of Sierre between the plain and the mountains. The portfolio includes white grape varieties such as Fendant, Johannisberg, Petite Arvine, Païen, Pinot gris, Marsanne blanche, and Malvoisie, alongside red varieties like Gamay, Pinot noir, Gamaray, Cornalin, Humagne, Merlot, and Syrah. Additionally, the estate produces rosé wines and sweet wines made from late harvests aged in barriques. Visitors are welcomed for tastings in the property's traditional carnotzet.
