About the estate
The Swiss winery Cave du Cholèk sàrl is based in Muraz near Sierre in the Valais and is run in the fourth generation. In 2022, Katia took over the operation, which evolved from a small family business and currently cultivates three hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are located predominantly on the right bank as well as in the plain of Sierre and are farmed in accordance with Vitival standards for integrated production. The portfolio consists equally of white wines such as Fendant, Johannisberg, and various specialties, as well as red wines including Pinot noir, Gamay, and local specialties. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks.
